The Haunted
The Smurls' Pennsylvania home was found by the Warrens to be haunted by numerous spirits. They wrote a book about their experience, which they called, The Haunted. In 1991, the work was adapted into a TV film of the same name. Star Sally Kirkland was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Janet Smurl.
